Behind the Art: Zac Cleminson

Zac has been working in the tattoo industry for five years, having started his career just before the COVID-19 pandemic at a tattoo shop called Blood Moon. He has since opened his own studio, Good Time Tattoo, in Paoli, Pennsylvania, where he continues to offer amazing original designs and flawless execution of them.
His work is focused on American Traditional tattooing, where he blends bold original designs with timeless flash classics.
Zac previously worked in the corporate world but eventually found himself craving a more creative and fulfilling direction. Tattooing offered him the perfect opportunity to make art every day and be part of the community-driven environment that only a tattoo shop can provide.
What is American Traditional Tattoo Art?

American Traditional tattooing is the pinnacle of enduring style. Defined by its bold, thick outlines, limited color palette (think primary colors and black), and classic imagery like eagles, roses, and nautical themes, it's a style built to last.
Made popular by titans like Sailor Jerry and Ed Hardy, the aesthetic took root in early 20th-century naval ports and military hubs where they came into contact with indigenous tattoo practices of the Pacific.
Forged by sailors, military, and outsiders—an original visual language of both rebellion and loyalty emerged. When you choose a traditional tattoo, you're not choosing a trend;
