Crafted with the bold outlines and bright colors that give American Traditional Tattoo style its unique flair, Zac’s artwork delivers an unmistakable and timeless vibe.
The Prism Inked collection features eagles, a heart and banner, a panther, floral elements, and a snake design, giving you a wide selection of “tattoo flash” to choose from when customizing your next bong or upgrading with a new part.
When we set out to create this collection with Zac, we wanted to deliver on some of American Traditional's most iconic designs. After months of conceptualizing, we knew we had to offer:

Each one of these designs are integral to the history (and future) of American Traditional aesthetics. Where Zac came in was adding some modernity to these timeless archetypes of tattooing.
Behind the Art: Zac Cleminson

Zac has been working in the tattoo industry for five years, having started his career just before the COVID-19 pandemic at a tattoo shop called Blood Moon. He has since opened his own studio, Good Time Tattoo, in Paoli, Pennsylvania, where he continues to offer amazing original designs.
His work is focused on the American Traditional style of tattooing, where he blends bold original designs with timeless flash classics.
Zac previously worked in the corporate world, but eventually found himself craving a more creative and fulfilling direction. Tattooing offered him the perfect opportunity to make art every day and be part of the community-driven environment that only a tattoo shop can provide.
What Is the American Traditional Tattoo Style?

American Traditional tattooing is the pinnacle of enduring style. Defined by its thick, bold outlines, limited color palette (think more primary colors and black), and classic imagery like roses, and nautical themes-- it's a style built to last.
Made popular by titans like Sailor Jerry and Ed Hardy, the aesthetic took root in early 20th-century naval ports and military hubs where people came into contact with the indigenous tattoo practices of the Pacific.
Forged by sailors, military personnel, and outsiders, an original visual language of both rebellion and loyalty emerged. When you choose a traditional tattoo, you're not choosing a trend;
You're choosing a piece of history!
Tastemakers and Taboo Breakers

For centuries, tattoos were viewed with suspicion in the West—associated with criminality and the fringes of society. Think less fine art and more a permanent mark of rebellion.
But that didn't stop the artists and the brave.
Those who got tattooed weren't just marking their bodies; they were making a bold, permanent choice to reject the narrow confines of the status quo. All About Decals
What materials are used in Prism’s decals and do they contain lead?
When you’re "inking" your glass, safety is just as important as the aesthetic.
At Prism, we use organic, lead-free glass enamels. Unlike cheap "sticker" bongs or low-quality imports that may use lead-based pigments to achieve bright colors, our decals are composed of food-safe glass particles and mineral pigments.
What are "safe" glass decals and can they be toxic when heated?
A "safe" decal is one that is kiln-fired. We bake our designs into the borosilicate at temperatures exceeding 1,000°F.
This creates a molecular bond where the art becomes part of the glass itself. Because the decals are on the exterior of the water pipe and are lead-free, they do not off-gas or release toxins when you use your bong.
They are scratch-resistant, chemical-resistant, and—most importantly—lung-safe.
Are there any glass pipe colors that are unsafe?
In the world of glass blowing, some colors (specifically certain "cadmium" reds, yellows, and oranges) have historically raised eyebrows. However, there is a big difference between raw powdered pigments used by a glassblower and the finished, fired glass you hold in your hand.
The Verdict: Once glass is properly annealed and fired, it is inert. We avoid "painted" glass—which can flake or peel—ensuring that the only thing you're inhaling is the pure flavor of your herb.
