Benefits of Putting Ice In Your Bong
1. Cleaner, Better Tasting Smoke
One of the benefits of smoking a bong as opposed to other forms of getting that sacred THC into our systems is that the water filters the smoke. You may have heard that expression before, but what does it mean to “filter smoke?” Well, it’s simple! When the smoke passes through the water chambers, its temperature cools. This helps with that harsh feeling in your throat that can be common when smoking joints or dry pieces. With the addition of ice to the filtration of the smoke, you are able to take good tasting, clean bong rips.
2. The Cooling Effect
In a traditional bong rip, the smoke will cool as it passes through all the water chambers, and stay around that relative temperature as it travels through the rest of your piece and into your mouth.
