It's All About Choices!!!
Prism has always been dedicated to providing our customers with a plethora of options when designing their custom bong, but now we’re taking it to a whole new level. In addition to size, color, decal, and glass types, you can now choose between a Classic Clamp setup or the Halo Twist setup. WHOA! Mind being blown! Thank goodness we have the 3D Custom Bong Builder to help you design it right . . . haha
What’s the Difference?
There are a few differences between the Classic Clamp and the Halo Twist. However, we are not here to tell you one of these products is “better” than the other because they aren't. They will both function exactly the same, allowing you to smoke your modular bong with ease and without worry that it will disassemble when using or carrying it. The only difference is your personal preference. So basically whether you want to twist it or clamp it.
How Do I Choose?
- Ergonomic Differences: Some people really like the physical act of securing the lever on the Classic Clamp because it gives them a physical indicator their piece is locked into place. Others would rather not force a lever into the closed position because they’re worried the act of closing it could cause slippage or droppage. Maybe you don’t want to twist your pieces into place because you feel it might take longer, or you don’t like the repetitive wrist motion of twisting. All of these are valid, because everyone’s hands are different, and everyone has different ways of handling their bong.
- Aesthetic Differences: There are also aesthetic differences between the Classic Clamp connector and Halo Twist. With the removal of the lever, the Halo is a little smaller in size and sleeker in appearance. Whereas the Classic Clamp offers a more industrial look that’s a little more beefy. Both are designed proportionately to the size and shape of any Prism custom bong you design. So the choice is really just a more industrial feel versus a more streamlined sleek look.
- Decal Alignment: The Halo is designed to have your decals always located in the same dedicated location. You twist it and it auto sets the way your bong will look. However, with the Classic Clamps, you can rotate your decals into any position you would like. You can also hide a decal and just show a solid colored glass option if you’re trying to mix up those IG stories a little. If you want even more variety than what we offer within each piece, the clamp could be the way to go.
- Connector Color and Pattern Options: Both types of connectors come in anodized aluminum colors of black, gold, green, purple, blue, and red. The Classic Clamps have a gloss finish giving them a shinier look whereas the Classic Clamp has a matt look. The main difference however is with the Halo Twist we can finally put patterns on them. Yes you read that right! PATTERNS! We have a sick Tie Dye one right now that is bringing that custom bong game to a whole new level.
- Price: Exciting news is, there’s no difference in price. Both the Classic Clamp and the Halo Twist are exactly the same. So no worry of dropping more of a dime on one instead of the other.
When it comes down to it, the Classic Clamp and the Halo Twist are both great customizable bong options that Prism is excited to offer you. Whatever your reason is between the two, it's totally up to your preference and don’t forget - nobody’s stopping you from trying out both!
