The Tree Percolator is the perfect way to grow your glass collection on your custom bong. This percolator makes your bong function like a classic on top of adding extra height. So how’s it work? Well, the tree percs are fused to the bottom of the glass to ensure the smoke flows through the small slits providing ample function, filtration, and that milky smoothness you want.

Once you have decided you want to grow your custom bong collection and add a percolator, the question then becomes which one? Prism offers three types of percolators, a standard 7 Stem Tree Percolator, a Matrix Percolator, and the fan fav the Big Percolator which is a 12 stem large tree percolator. Each percolator was added to our glass collection for a reason so check out below.
The Big Percolator (or 12 Stem Tree Percolator) is Prism’s premier percolator. Every time we see someone chugg on it for the first time, it is apparent how smooth of a pull it generates. The number of stems greatly increases the air flow capabilities without reducing it’s filtration properties. This causes for a super smooth rumble of a chugg when in use. Although it is priced a bit higher than the other two percolators Prism offers, the Big Percolator offers a beautiful aesthetic to any custom bong combination. The larger diameter of it adds detail and depth from the standard 50mm tubing used for the majority of Prism’s mouthpieces. This simply balances the appearance of the piece, and on top of that makes it chugg like hell. Typically the bigger the percolator, the more of a nightmare it is to clean. Remember though, having a clean bong is Prism’s goal, and these percolators are super easy to clean in the sink with a little isopropyl alcohol and some salt.
Prism’s Showerhead Percolators are for those who like a different look than the traditional Tree Perc. Both Tree Percs and Showerhead Percolators are effective at filtering smoke by creating smaller bubbles where smoke debris can be picked up by the water. However, Showerhead Percolators provide a different feel than the Tree Perc and can arguably feel less restrictive when you pull smoke. Like all Prism pieces, the Showerhead Percolators are very easy to clean with a little isopropyl alcohol and some salt.
Prism’s 7 Stem Tree Percolator is the classic tree perc done the Prism way. Each stem on the tree perc has two slits at the bottom breaking up the smoke and generating added filtration. This percolator has a price advantage as well over the Big Percolator if you are on a budget, however it still offers great function and added filtration. Adding this percolator as well will give you a relatively tall bong with an additional 5” to the overall height. Because Prism’s custom bongs can be taken apart, this percolator is super easy to clean. All of Prism’s percolators are relatively equal as far as cleaning goes, but they are all much easier to clean than a fixed percolator in your traditional piece. So all in all, it's a must for the Prism custom bong collection.
