There’s a frequency vibrating through the air right now that you can almost taste. The sun is up, summer is nearly here, and most importantly, Sublime is back!


Last year, cannabis industry icon, and Prism's bestie, Jane West, reached out to say she felt our modular system was the perfect canvas for translating Sublime’s sunkissed vibe to glass.


Fresh off of our launch of her signature Jane West Collection, Jane reminded us that music and cannabis go together like old friends.


Now, we're beyond excited to turn on the stage lights and celebrate our mutual love for Sublime and LBC culture, the best way we know how!

    "The Opie Ortiz Sun"

    The heart of this collection is the Sun. Created by the legendary Opie Ortiz when he was just 18, the 40oz. to Freedom sun is more than just a band logo; it’s a cultural touchstone that helped define a generation.


    For decades, that Sublime Sun has acted as a silent signal. If you were ever looking for a session buddy, all you needed to do was spot someone wearing that iconic tee, and you knew instantly you were among friends. It represents a shared language of Long Beach culture, laid-back resilience, and coastal grit—a "primal swirl" of life, death, and rebirth.

    From Airbrush to Icon.

    Opie has often shared that his art was born out of raw emotion, capturing the spirit of the LBC (Long Beach, California) scene in a way words couldn't. What started as an airbrushed T-shirt bought by Bradley Nowell for twenty bucks evolved into a psychedelic map of the soul.


    Look closely and you’ll see the "hidden" DNA of the streets:


    • A polka-dot mushroom for a brain.

    • A fish skeleton and a caterpillar forming the features.

    • Jagged rays symbolizing creation. It’s an aesthetic that grew from the asphalt, the surf, and the backyard parties of the LBC.

    A Heartfelt Tribute to Sublime’s Legacy

    By featuring the original Sun alongside the classic Gothic Sublime tattoo font from the Sublime Self-Titled LP—the same ink Opie famously tattooed across Bradley’s back—we made sure this collection remained a heartfelt tribute to that legacy.


    We didn't want to over-complicate a masterpiece; we wanted to translate it onto a new medium that feels just as permanent and personal as the Sublime tattoos on a fan's skin.

    Recently, we went behind the scenes with the Sublime family and crew to witness the Prism x Sublime collection against those towering monoliths.


    Hearing the lyrics to "Until the Sun Explodes" resonate through the amphitheater felt like a mission statement for this new era—a sun-drenched realization that this collaboration is about much more than design.
